About LinkBacksI brought home a small saddle wrasse (Thalassoma duperreyi) today, acclimatized him and released. He hung around for a short while then he was startled. He shot away and I haven't seen him for hours. Has anyone had any experience with hiding wrasses? Should I be worried?

Hiding wrasse- How long till I see him?

I had a 6-line that got eatn by a condo. But anyway when I first put him in my Blue Devil got on him and he hid for like 24 hours. Try not to worry to much. I know its hard not too. Im sure hell pop back up. They have great personalities.

As long as no one pesters him, he'll be out in a day or two. Wrasses are notoriously shy while acclimating.

I have an Arrowhead Pygmy Wrasse that hid for about two weeks when introduced.
My "cult like" following is taking applications.
