SurfsUP ~

Beautiful fish! Nice pics, too.

P.S. - I'll have to bring this thread to the attention of one of our other members who is trying to determine if his clownfish is Percula or Ocellaris. Of course, the coloration of yours leaves no doubt--especially the female--but your pic of the female is so clear and enlarged that it is easy to count the 9 dorsal spines. Percula clownfish usually have 9 or 10 dorsal spines, Ocellaris clownfish usually have 11.

FishKid: If your percs get Ich, don't send them across the road to join your cat.

I agree with enough on the cat... My family has a cat that has asthma and it would cough up furballs all over the house... well guess what we did with it. We put it outside and you know what happened? It's actually doing better than it was inside. Leave the kid alone, he was unsure of what to do. Also, that blackish colored clown. Is it a True Percula? and if so, male or female? Mine looks like the one on the bottom

I will say that the blackish clown is a True Percula female.

My true Perc looks more like the one on the bottom too. I have noticed that the pictures of true percula clowns that I have seen have a wide range of color patterns.
