Help on sumps/refugium construction

when i make my sump and over flow. .
what do i bond it with?
juts silicone? or is there a brand of adhesive i should use?

Hi Venaman

If you are bonding glass to glass then use a food grade silicone. Do not try to bond glass to plexi or glass to acrylic....you will end up pulling your hair out. And make sure you let the silicone cure, and wash and rinse real well. Its easy to do....HTH

alright

ok. .well i just wanna bond plexi to plexi
should i still use silicon?

also . .does ne one know how i would go about buliding the overflow so that a good amount of GPH like 600 at least will go thrugh it?

Weld-On #4 or #16 Made by IPS. Usually not available at the Borg's like Home Chepo or Lowe's. Look for a acrylic's retailer or order of the net.
