Can't speak for ESV(never tried it), but I do like DT's. Mixed in a blender w/ orange juice and a banana...makes a great morning shake....
J/K!Seriously, I've been using DT's for about a year now. Our inverts seem to thrive on it.

I have used both ESV and dt's with no noticable difference in my corals or gorgonians. I pretty much just use ESV now and everyting is doing great in my tank.
Just my 2 cents....

I use liquidlife now..LIke it..definately lasts longer than DT's too.

ESV, DT, add a pinch of Golden Pearls and Coral Heaven. I alternate and use all four. Its not THAT expensive. Having good luck with all. (Not sure how'd I'd tell if I wasn't)!
