Maroon Clownfish!!

Hi Everyone! I have a pair of maroon clownfish and I think they are just awesome! But I would like to remind those hobbyists who want a pair or even one that they are aggressive and love to re-arrange your DSB! Here is a pic of my large female:

Here's my Maroon clown. I have a mated paid in another tank, but still trying to get an unblurry picture of them.

Hi MontanaRocknReefer!

A wonderful fish, indeed. I really like the Gold Stripe Maroon Clowns as well. saltjunkie has a very nice one, maybe we can get him to post a pic of it.

Yeah I had to totally revamp my tank becuz of "Emmit" my maroon/gold clown I built my own reefracks out of eggcrate. But you know its kinda good that they fan the SB to a certain degree it helps from having a dead spot.....its like your own mobile powerhead in essence

BTW Awesome BTA there!

Very nice looking clowns. I have been planning to get two and see if they form a pair. Maybe next month. How big are your clowns and are they aggressive toward other fish?
Do they only associate with a BTA or will they accept any other anemone as a host?

E. quadricolor is the only anenome in the wild that they are known to associate.

My pair is very happy in my LTA. It's perfect for them because the anenome is in the sand bed just inside the cave they have claimed as their own.

Now, if I can just figure out how to get to the eggs. They lay them on the inside of the cave. I'd have to dismantle the entire structure just to get to them.

Nice pics...
