Getting my CC out of tank

what is the best way of getting my CC out of my tank

i have barely any fish nor coral and a bit of live rock that can simply be moved out of the way. .
i just need to know an effective way of getting it out

siphoning? orrr?

help is appreciated

LOL - Removing that is tons of fun! Been there, done that! The easiest way for me to get out the crushed coral and not loose a lot of water was to use a calander (strainer) and a cup! set the calandar in the bottom of the tank, fill up the cup, pour in calandar, raise caladar out of water, water drains out, dispose of crushed coral. Kinda lengthy but worth it for me since I didnt want to loose a lot of my water....live and learn, only DSB's for me!
