Barry, I have gotten acropora from FFE. The only deal is you need to know what you are ordering. FFE has no idea what species they offer. Some are almost funny to see what FFE marks them as. So if you're looking for sps, then you better know or I have gotten 1 clam from them. I think they are much better in that. I got a nice sky blue patterned maxima..5" or so. HTH..

Yes that is what I was looking at. (clam) I am going to LA next week on business, I wonder if they would let me stop by and save 35.00 on shipping?
I should be getting my 5" black tiger this Friday. I will shot you a picture. ![]() Barry |

Barry,
I have ordered from them. Everything looked great and they have excellent customer service. SueT is correct, make sure that you are specific on exactly what you are ordering. They are very busy and sell out of stock on items; they will ship partial orders unless you specify not to. But, I would definately order from them again.

I agree w/sue
another thing is get on their mailing list....and I think its Tue. and Thur (changes) is USUALLY when they send out the updated aquajewels, and clams....Run your butt off to the site the minute you find out they have updated.....alot of the sweet frags/clams go within the first hour they update those list!! I have gotten really nice pieces from them before, but it was minutes after they updated the site. I always have my CC ready...hehe. But their good stuff goes VERY quick.

I bought 55lbs of UNcured liverock and I got pre-cured-cured rock instead. I called them and they told me they would send me another box of RAW rock for free and that I could keep the old rock. They didn't even charge me for shipping. So, that is pretty darn good customer service in my mind.
They replaced several Blue Reef Chromis for me one time too that died on the second day. Nanook

I have probably placed 25+ orders from FFE. Mostly fish, supplies and one order of LR, no inverts.
I have been very pleased, although they are not perfect. I have received a hand-ful of fish that should have never been shipped (quarantine is critical). Almost all the others were very nice. They do occasionally send a 'small' when you ordered a medium, but have been very willing to correct over the phone. Never tried to get a refund, but would guess they would opt for credit. The Fiji LR appeares to come from Walt Smith and the quality is consistant with other MO shops (which many also send Walt Smith). Most of their sales crew is knowledgable on fish, don't know about inverts. I have since tried other MO companies, but still get a lot of my fish/supplies from FFE. |
