he goes to the corner swims "up and backwards" into it,with his head facing the sand,so he can get his "butt" into the corner as far as he can ,from the looks of it ,and does his thing.........

I've read of other reefers having experiences where their Tangs will always go... you know... when they would come close to the tank.
They would also act kind of eager like it was feeding time and they were waiting for food. So everyone thought... Hey! They're just cleansing their bowels to get ready for dinner! So maybe that's the case??? |

Is it anywhere close to where you feed him? They have this "no smell" carpet care stuff that's supposed to remove the smell for when dogs go.... hehe.. think they have any for fish? |

but its a fact.and its not related to food(well of course it really is
)............i think its his "exclusive spot"..............he does it when im not in the room...the crabs are always there too...i think its a "dead spot" that he has found where he can store his poop????mimic tangs do eat detritus as a major portion of their diet ,i gather from my readings, and perhaps he is "recycling" his own waste and has found a way to store it??????its my best guess thus far...has nobody else ever exp.this?????? |
