Hitchiker Brittlestars
I noticed 2 small brittle stars (approx 1") the other night, after taking an enough sargassum to fill up a pitcher, i found 5 more. they are all greyish white with black bands. after finding 5 of em, im hoping that they are mini brittle stars. is there anyway to tell, besides waiting and watching?

I got nearly 5 white brittle's with my latest ship of LR.....
If it looks like mini brittle stars, it probably is. I've got 2 striped brittles in my tank, and their diong a great job on eating left over foods and other "stuff"... Thomas |

It really ios impossible to tell if their mini brittles......
It seems like a juvenile striped brittle, and they get pretty large(6inches in my tank). Why they stick together, I don't know.... Maybe their planning their escape back to the sea J/K |
