Star compatibility?
I know the green brittlestar is not too safe around fish in a reef, but what about the Gaudy( small dull red star)? Will the Gaudy get along with other red, blue, or other stars?

thought I would at least give you a post. I am not sure of the star you have ask about. But if you want a Brittle star. The Black Hawian is very reef safe and causes no problems but they do hide 99.9% of the time.

Identifying stars as reef-safe is very difficult--even for the experts. There are certain stars that have good and bad reputations. My red serpent star was supposed to be safe, but I've personally witnessed it take down a fish.
Do you have a pic of the star in question?
