Ok.. I have a 4 types of ricordea...2 yuma 2 florida..I have excess yuma(1 of those might be florida) but anyways, I got bored, cut a few tops off, pizza pied em and propped them onto some small frags using a sewing needle and fishing line. Seems like they arent too stressed so far. Heres some pics of the proppings and the mother colonies

I have ricordeas, too. But I don't know what type (possibly Florida). How can you tell the difference between the Floridas and Yumas?

There is a way by looking at the oral protrusion but to be honest...I can't really tell you because even if I explain the way to do it, it doesn't make sense to me. I can actually just tell from looking at them
