caulerpa toxic?

some guy who knows his stuff was telling me that caulerpa has very minor toxins. . ?
this true ?

Im not sure, but it wouldnt surprise me if it is...Especially grape calerpa...Im sure it has toxious effects to some animals. If you would like to find out more about this I strongly suggest reading Anthony Calfo's "Book of Coral Propagation" he goes into depth on noxious gases released in our aquariums....the whole book is excellent! here is a link where premium aquatics is selling it.
