pics of my tank

Here they are.. the first series of pictures I've ever taken of my tank. I had to borrow a friend's digital camera (thanks Connie) in order to take them. My tank is a 46 gallon bow-front reef. I think the fact that it is a bow-front has made some of the pictures come out a little blurry. Either that, or I just couldn't hold my hand steady. Anyway, here they are! enjoy!

pic 12- this is kind of an action shot of my xenia colonies. Normally these colonies are much bigger but they are currently recovering from being stung by the yellow polyps.

pic 13- last pic is of my button polyps. This is one of the very first corals I ever purchased. Very easy to keep and a very hardy coral, although for some reason mine have spread very slowly.

pic 14- ok I couldn't resist, I thought this picture was cool so I wanted to put it up. This is everything on the right side of the tank. I thought it was a good shot of the clown. The clown is one of my first fish, she is now 7 years old!

That's it for now! hope you guys liked the pics. I think the next upgrades for my tank will be a larger Ecosystem and MH lighting. Right now I have power compact lighting, hang-on Ecosystem, and a Bak Pak 2 skimmer. I'm also planning to switch to a fine DSB when I move.

Looks very nice.

Don't let the Tang-Nazis give you any grief about having a Yellow Tang in a 46 gallon tank. I have a Yellow Tang in a 55, and he is the happiest fish in the sea.

Thanks Reinhold,
I would really like to add one or two more fish (at the most.) What kind of fish would you guys recommend to go well with the fish I currently have? any thoughts?

I've had great luck with Royal Grammas. They hide well, yet they are fiercely protective of their little turf in the tank. They are beautiful to look at as well.

BTW....cool web site.

Thanks, I havn't worked on my site in a forever! I almost forgot it existed. I'd like to start working on a site for my tank (I'm sure nobody else has thought of that idea! ) Thanks for the suggestion for the fish. I agree that a royal gramma would be a very good selection!
