another refugium Q
i have a section for my refugium
im gonna put a DSB and live rock with mangroves and caulerpa. now, should i put snails and hermits or do i want algae growth the algae will help produce pods right? are they good? thanks |

I put some snails in my refugium just in case there are some algae. However, I rarely see it. I wouldn't put any hermit crabs in the refugium because they do a good job of scavenging and can definitely go for your bristleworms too.

ok so how do i preduce copepods through a refugium
and will i get so many that it becomes a nuisance? can bristle worms be put in a main tank or just rref? thanks |

Hi Venaman!
It's always a good idea to put some Nassarius with your DSB. Where you successful in getting any in Ontario?
Scott Z. I just read your other thread where you mentioned acquiring some Nassarius. Where did you get them from? |

actuall yes. .
i am able to get little nassaurius, conch, turbos and astrea all gooood . . so how do i get copepods ![]() |
