Very nice. I've not seen much Seritopora, I like it. Do you run a skimmer in your system? I didn't see one in tank specs.

do you ave the mag 9.5 running wide open? I noticed thick branches on your seriatopora esp. My corals all seem to grow thick as well and I think it's because of the hig flow rate. I love the pics, looks lke you have a good handle on things.
Are you using a ca reactor? What supplements if any are you addng? MROK12(MIKE) |

Cod, I run a CPR SR6 skimmer with a Mag 12.It really collects quite a bit of scumski every day .
mrok 12, Yes , I run the Mag 950 wide open on the 3/4 sea swirl . I drip Mrs Wages pickling lime 24/7 and add DT's every couple days. I also started adding REEF SOLUTION recently and believe this is a good product.I've heard others compliment on the stuff including Jason at Premium. I use a Korallin C 1501 Ca reactor. I am planning on a 65 like you have and then call it quits on adding any more STUFF to the system. Your tank is Very Nice !!! Congrats ! Thanks Schrocat, I spent many years preparing for a reef .I always had FO systems .My main tank , the 90 always had High nitraes so over the past few years I've got the system to zero nitrate . I wanted to make sure everything was right before I added any corals. The tank I have the SPS in was running in the system for a couple years with the deep sand bed so when I added the corals the tank was fairly mature ![]() |
