My 72

Wanted to post a pic of my first reef tank. Picture taken today, been up for about year and a half. I will be taking it down and moving most of
the contents in the next few weeks and putting them into a 125 I am setting up.

That looks VERY nice! Especially for only being up a year. Are you going to hang on to the 72 in addition to the new tank? Good luck with the new set-up.

Thanks golfish.
I will be doing some xenia farming in the next couple of weeks if any one in the plymouth area is
interested in some? My xenia is getting out of control!

Saltymp,
Right now I am using 2 175 metal halide and 2 40
watt actinic. Before I was using 4/55 watt pc's
Go with at least 2 175 mh if you can. I am much more happy with them. Mine is one unit it is black made by hamilton technoligies has 1 4" fan in it also. My temp did not go up either.

rwag- sweet looking tank! very nice. It's good to see someone else on this board from south-eastern Michigan! I am in the plymouth area about two times a week. Are you selling the xenia? or giving it away? Let me know, I go to fish docs quite often so we could probably meet there.

Bongobrain,
For a fellow reefland member I would be more then happy to give you
a couple of xenia stalks. Also I got some anthelia I will be thinning out
looks nice (large polyps). I will e-mail you or post when I have them propped. onto some new rocks. Might be several days, all my extra time now (which isnt much) is going into my 125 that I am working on.

Northman,
My rabbit seems to change colors quite frequenty.(He gets scared easy)
