Scuba, so am I. But I am not using the setup like Calfo, I will be using the one similar to the one from Dwayne. I need to get more info on it and how it works. Mine will be small, maybe 2 photyo, 1 brine and 1 roto at the most. I just need to sit down and figure out what I am doing and why I am doing it
If you come across any good info on the setup pass it along. I just started researching today. Its time I sit back and enjoy my tank. I am almost done with the woodworking part and thats it for a while. The phyto will be a easy project compared to some of mine, ![]()

I am P!SS scared of water! If i cant see to the bottom (or almost to the bottom)
i think what ruined it for me was my dad, when i was little he touch me fishin with him and was annoying him so he pushed me in the murky water then started yelling "hurry up the alligators comming" I didnt find it too funny mark Last edited by FishKid; 02-19-2002 at 10:26 PM. |

Nice pics Scuba, I just got back from Maui as well, didn't go out to Molokini, but did do a lot of snorkeling off of Maui. What struck me was that I recognized 90% of the fish species, but they were SO much larger. Really gives you a diff perspective when you order 'large' from the fish-store.
Did you hear the shrimp (maybe mantis) that were 'crackling' while you were diving? It is loud! |

Nice photos. What kind of housing do you have for your 995 and where did you get it? I've hesitated to get a housing for my 990, as the shutter speeds are so slow. Did you experience any troubles due to the slow speeds? |

But well worth it! Ikelite is the leader IMO when it comes to camera cases and No I did not worry about leakage if you get the caseing you will understand once you see the workmanship put into the caseing. The camera I bought at www.bhphotovideo.com for $729 -$100 Mail in rebate from Nikon. The Caseing I bought from same place If memory serves me correct (cant find my papers right now) Here is a place to get the houseing for a good price Helix UW Photo Dept #6177 Ikelite Digital Hsng f/CoolPix 995 priced at $760.00 800-334-3549 x42 or 312-421-6000 x42 FWIW Im 85% sure the caseing is exclusively for the 995...Unless the other cameras have the same dimensions and the same exact buttons in the same locations....there are alot of control buttons and switches on the 995 and you are able to access most all of them w/the caseing....its a very nice caseing and to my knowledge Ikelite is the ONLY one who makes one for this camera.
