it doesnt look small ,its just so damn wide im jealous of that
i wish i had room for the 150 oceanic, but i really dont, heck i dont have room for the 120, really that extra six inches makes a HUGE difference in aquascaping options.

Yeah Organic, 6 inches wider really makes a nice reef. If I could do it over I would have gone 5 foot long (180).......

yup that 6" wide looks great. My 24" wide isn't quite enough. But i guarrente my next tank I will really do it right wide and long. your Tank looks good. If you want to get rid of your turf alga put on an ecosystem and get rid of that euroreef Really were all your sps frags? Hows the growth? My fastest I may get 1/2+ a month= monti, birdsnest. the rest are slow. Which type grows the fastest?

Thomas,
Here little of what you wanted.

Temp- 80 in the morning 83-84 when the lights go off. (lucky) (J\K Organic)

SG- 1.023-1.024

KH- 12-15

Calcium- 450-475

Nitrates, Nitrites, ammonia, PO4, are all zero......

Ironreef,
I'm going to setup a refugium as soon as I can find a used 25-30 gal tank and stand.......I finally had to ditch the Purple tip Montipora. It was growing faster then Xenia. The Yellow\orange Acro grow very fast as does all the other Monti's. I also have a Green slimmer that does pretty good.

DUDE! why are you ditching that stuff? You cant sell it locally? I can almost understand ditching xenia, but the monti's you should be able to get some $$ out of it....I would try and take some of it to a LFS and give it to them for and trade for the small tank you are looking to get for a refugium.

Hey Mark. The tank is looking great. I see you added a powder blue to the tank. That is definitely on my list when I upgrade to a bigger tank. How is the aggression between the powder and the purple?

Still have those frags for you when you can make it out. :-)

IME if it's purple tip monti rest brown= not worth much. If it's solid brown then $$$$ But i remeber when xenia had a waiting list for months. Now can't give it away to most . Just depends where your at. FWIW how i buy frags is I go to LFS and see a dying acro. Watch it for a few mo. When i see it stopped dying and getting new growth. I ay no ones gonna buy it sell me a piece= $8 later i have gotten a few nice pieces that have doubled

Dude,
Most LFS don't stock SPS and the ones that do wouldn't take it for free. I wound up giving away all I had to Jeff's and a few other local reefers.....

Brian,
No problem what so ever with the tangs. How are you ?

Hey Mark!

Tank looks great, keep up the efforts!

I agree with you about the picture, makes it look like a nano! I think he meant to say 15gal, not 150.

Looks super golfish!! Wish I had the extra space for the depth but alas I'll settle for a 90 so I still have an equipment room...

Simply gorgeous, Mark!
Tell me about your substrate. It's nice to see such clean, white sand.

Thanks guys

Dick,
The substrate is made up of 250 pounds of Southdown sand from HD and about 125 pounds of live sand from my old 55. The sand from my old 55 is mostly CaribSea Aragamax.
