Hi Mark,
The tank is looking great. By the way, which acro do the chromis sleep in? I'll bet they sleep in the green slimer once it grows some more. By the way (part II), is Geo's Nilsen reator a stir bar reactor or a powerhead reactor? -Steve |

Steve,
I really don't know where the chromis sleep. I'll look tonight. The green slimer is really starting to take off The Geo reactor is mixed with a Maxi- Jet 1200. The unit has been running for three months not without a problem......Just to give credit where credit is do. My tank is pretty much patterned after your 150. In just the short time I spent with you I have learned a lot.........................thanks Steve Let me know if there's anything from my tank you need.......how about some of that nice Tuft algae ![]() |

Mark,
I only brought up the Chromis question because I remember how much more I liked them when they started to exhibit more natural behavior. Once the green slimer stag in my own tank became large enough the Chromis quickly made it their home. They would sleep in it at night, and dart into it during the day if something startled them which I found preferable to their old habit of wandering around the tank at random and hiding among the live rock. As far as credit is concerned, you're giving me and my tank way too much credit. Anyway, I'm glad to see your tank thriving. If it weren't for the tuft algae you'd have nothing to do! Any chance I can one day see the tank in person if I agree to bring an offering of beer? By the way, I have a 400W 10K bulb I've only used for two months that is gathering dust. I might throw it on the new tank temporarily, but if I don't (and you're in a mood to experiment) when your 6500K wears out, let me know. -Steve |

Congratulations on the new son!
My daughter has been developing methods of defense in case she should encounter another Land Shark Now that I think about it, I would probably leave my little monster at home and just bring the beer. -Steve |
