Question Firefish and a Royal Gramma

Hey all, im back!
I've been doin other things and buyin other things. Now I just started savin up for the 125 gallon reef tank that i was talking about last summer, goin to be a loooooong time before its all ready.
But anyway I've picked out the fish for it and heres the list:
2-3 Banggai Cardinals
1 Yellow Tang
6 Green Chromis
1 Green Mandarin
1 Lawnmower ( Scooter) Blenny
1 Royal Gramma
2 Purple Firefish
2 Firefish
3-4 Neon Gobies
1-2 Pearly Jawfish
Now my question is about the Royal Gramma and the firefish. Will they get along or will they fight each other?

Hey bud welcome back! long time no see

i think theyd get along fine

btw... Lawnmower blenny and a scooter blenny are two different fish, the scooter blenny is actually a dragonet and will compete with the mandarin for food

im not sure but those numbers seem a little high for stocking, may just be me though

Red face Whoa Nellie!

Those two fish should get along ok.....But thats quite a heavy bioload even for a 125 if you also plan on having corals! JMO

New Decisons

Alright, I got a new list, here it is:
2 Banggai Cardinals
1 Yellow Tang
4 Green Chromis
1 Green Mandarin
1 Lawnmower Blenny
1 Royal Gramma
2 Firefish
3 Neon Gobies
1 Pearly Jawfish

This still too much of a bioload for a 125 reef? TAIA

Maybe the yellow tang and the mandarin....the tang will grow very quick...and the mandarin you might be able to put in but i would definately let the tank mature first for a year plus.

If you opt to nix the tang, (an i'm not advocating that you do) you might try a couple more chromis for a nice shoal. I don't see any clowns on the list. Always a great addition to a reef and add a lot of color. Just a thought.
(It's always fun to stock other people's tanks, ain't it?)

dont worry he has an eternity to plan for this tank (hes still saving up) I think that last list is good (i suggested it ) just plan to add the mandarin and tang last (hey scuba, i already talked him down from 2 yellow tangs, one step at a time we dont want to put him into shock)

man a 125... my parents would kill me especially with the electric bill for the mhs for a 6 foot tank!
