He's cute in an ugly sort of way... very cool though, I want to get one of those. What other fish do you have in the tank? do any of your fish bother him?

Man this guy is a algea eatn mad man! He has been in there since Friday night. Right now he is really small. I would say around 2". The other fish in the tank are a Blue Devil Damsel, Convict Damsel, Diadema Dottyback, Coral Beauty, Green Spotted Mandrian. The Blue Devil by far has been the meanest. Well for the time being lets just say the JD doesn't have any friends!

The Mandrian seems to care less if JD is there or not.

Hairy,

Good luck with J.D., He should be fine in the tank. It is so cool that a little lawnmower can eat so much algae. It's pretty funny watching them swim and then rest on a rock. You know the lawnmowers actually look like hairy old men!!!!

Brian,
Mine is "out front" most all the time. LB generally rests on the rocks, pecking at algae, but can move like a rocket when he wants to.
I paid $18 for mine!!!

Since I put him in Friday night he has been out in the open more and more each day. He takes refuge under my polyps when he feels threatened and boy can he turn the jets on when needed. He "hops" around chomping on algea. He is really fun to watch. I paid $27 for mine.

Great buy! I love those guys. They just have a ton of personality, and eat bothersome derbesia to boot!

They should have no problem with any Dragonets (which a Mandarin is)
