I use a setting on the camera that is for close up shots. The settig puts a little flower icon on my screen. I set the resolution as high as it will go. Then I put the front of the lense up against the glass of my tank and shoot.

I use a Sony Cyber shot. It is a 2001 model though. I think the old ones look and are made better then the new ones. It is 2.1 megapixel. I had it set on the highest res. Seems like it said 1200x1600. Not sure though. I will check when I get back home tonight. I would probably buy a Nikon CoolPix if I had to replace my Sony. My dad bout the CoolPix 775 and its a sweet little camera for the money. It was only $399.
