Best way to catch a mantis
Any suggestions????...
I tried to catch him with a fishing line, but he broke the line(powerful little guy) I know where he lives..... He even knocked over a rock! I really wanna catch him. Thomas |

Northman, since you know what rock he is hanging out in, take the rock out that he is in and do a high salinity dip (about 1.30) in a bucket and he will come right out of that rock!

If there is anyway possible to take that rock out of the tank do so, then as Sker says a high salinity dip will generally chase him out.
Remember to avoid placing your thumb over the hole when removing the rock, they are not call thumb spliters for nothing.

Will it work with freshwater??????
I dont have any salt because I use natural seawater...... (the real thing ) |
