Hi F242,
Welcome to the REEFLAND!! Mushrooms are usually good beginner corals. What type of lighting and how much lighting do you have? You thinking about adding any fish? You may want to start out with getting a good cleaning crew established in your tank first. I got mine from www.ipsf.com they have a great package deal that can include worms, snails, mini stars and a lot of other stuff. Check it out. -CaptK |

Cap is right,
Get the clean up crewq in first then buy some mushrooms. Add it slowly...... MROK12 |

Generally, soft corals will be the hardiest and the best way to start out. Shrooms, xenia, leathers, star polyps, button polyps, etc.
Some easy hard corals: bubble coral, open brains, candy coral (caulastrea,) would all be good choices.
