New pump/tons of bubbles from skimmer

I replaced my pump on my Remora skimmer and now there is a ton of bubbles in the tank. The pump is a stronger pump...Maxi Jet 1200. The bubbles may have decreased a bit over the last couple hours, but there are still a lot. Any suggestions? Thanks

Try to hold the air off the the pump for 20 sec.
This usually helps me out....
