Blenny on hunger strike
My lawnmower blenny has stopped eating. He sits up on a rock and I have had food bounce off his head with him showing no interest. Any ideas? He is starting to look skinny.
Thanks, Bill |

Have you tried nori? My LM will eat anything I put in the tank, but will savagely attack nori.
Thought this might be worth a try. Sorry I can't be of more help. I hope he starts to eat. I think the LMB is a unique and interesting specimen. My wife named ours KooKooKaChoo (she thinks he looks like a walrus, so she went for the obscure Beatles lyrics!). ![]()

Yep, tried that but maybe I'll give it another go. I didn't want to over feed the tank so I have been aiming feeding time at the blenny. All other fish are acting piggy and the corals look great. When I first got it it was eating the algae in the tank but never what I put in the tank. Now it seems to eat nothing.
