What are the specs on the tank that it came from? such as lighting, temp, salinity, etc. Perhaps you got it from a tank that is very different from yours in these respects. If that is the case, the coral is probably just in the process of establishing itself in the tank. Is the coral opening at all? I know that when I got my frogspawn it wasn't fully open at first but after a couple of weeks it would open all the way up.

Hi, I would actually place the frogspawn a little deeper in the tank. If you said the LFS didn't have much lighting on it (how long was it at the LFS before you bought it??) it may have adjusted to the LFS's lighting. Place it deeper in the water column, but still have water flow around it.
Also, is it "limp" like the tentacles are just bending down, or is it not even "protruding"? Good luck, keep us posted ![]() - Ilham (Elmo) |
