Exclamation Moving, Soooo Excited!?!?!?!?

Well not so you think I am crazy, but I am finally getting to put my tank into the wall and have all of the noisy stuff in the garage. So moving will be a pain although it is only 1 mile, but getting the tank into the wall will be what I have always wanted. Does anyone have suggestions, tips or tricks? Thanks in advance. Phil

Sorry man, no suggestions there. (Just so you don't feel like you're being ignored.)

There is really no difference in setting up an in-wall tank. Make sure you have plenty of angles for access, especially the front for cleaning and coral placement. Also, POST PICS WHEN YOUR DONE!

Make sure that the builders use green board rather than regular gypsum sheet rock for the space where the tank will sit. The former is waterproof, the later is not. It is more expensive, but your walls will lose the tendency to dissolve.

Ditto the greenboard. Moving wise, I've moved a 75 gallon reef tank twice. Once down a flight of stairs and once over 700 miles. I find it helpful to have lots of plastic tubs and sort the rock on the way out (base, topping etc). Keep some circulation going in the tubs. Make sure incompatible corals can't get together. Good luck.
