I think you have "brown jelly"..???

A freind of mine had that on an elegance coral, he just dipped it in some Kent Tech D a couple times and it was gone..

The brown Goop is a bacterial infection, called "brown jelly"...

Try siphoning off the brown crap and tweak your skimmer.

i syphoned it, but the most tweaking i can do with my skimmer is throwing it out! it gets a dry foam, but it isnt collecting much, the best i can do is buy another ph...

FishKid- I've been helping you with this problem for a while now. It sounds to me like the brain has an infection that is getting the best of it. I'd say the coral is doomed and if you keep it in your tank much longer you're going to poison the tank with ammonia. If you have a hospital tank I'd put it in there. If not, I would get the brain out of there.

this is the first time my brain had this, it was unhealthy from the day i got it though. im gonna give it the benefit of the doubt, as there is no more 'jelly' and there is plenty of polyps left. water params are fine
