Nuisance Polyps

A friend of mine has these little polyps all through his tank. They are not very pretty and practically impossible to remove. Scrubbing the rock seems to make them come back more numerous than before. They are all interconnected by little fiberous strands.

He bought a copperband thinking maybe the polyps were some kind of aptasia. No dice the copperband won't touch them. Then he got a few peppermint shrimp--nothing. The closeup pic covers an area about the size of a quarter. The following pic puts it all into perspective.

Does anyone know what these are? Are they some kind of polyp or aptasia?

I don't think I want these in my tank, either...

They resemble anthelia with the serrated type arms
but they look like they are not in colonies like anthelia grows? Odd.

Eric B. on RC identified it as Sensibia. Which, if I read the literature correctly, is a type of Anthelia. (or vise-versa)

Thanks all.
