And here is a link to my tank about 5 months ago. I can not believe how much of a difference 5 months makes:

Not bad. It's fun watching a tank mature.

Is that a large colt on the left? How old is it? Also is that some DIY LR in there that I see? Nice work![]()
Yup, that would be a colt coral. I am not sure how old it is, maybe someone could give a guess and let me know. I got it from Jeffs and it came in pretty large.
Nope, no DIY rock in there. Just the regular stuff you buy from the online stores.
Thanks for the replies!

Looks nice. Great algae and coral growth in such a short time.
Are you still running PC's?
I upgraded my lighting to 3x75W VHO's using the IceCap 660 ballast.
I am happy I did. But I think I have a little too much actin light. My tank looks a little too bluish/pinkish sometimes.
I think the next time I get bulbs I will get 2 daylight bulbs and 1 actin.
Looks good!!!
How about some specs????
Specs:
29 Gallons
CPR BackPak Skimmer
MaxiJet 1200
3x75W VHO on IceCap 660
Use Seachem Reef Advantage Calcium and Reef Builder for Alk
3"- 5" sandbed depending of where you are looking
About 25lbs-29lbs of various types of LR
3 Gallon water change every 2 weeks
1 Clown Fish
1 Coral Beuaty
A good variet of snails, with TONS of baby ones everywhere
3 small hawian hermits and one HUGE one that just won't go away
When I look at all of the above it sounds so simple....ya right
Future projects with this tank: Thinking about adding a sump and possibly adding another fish
