Nice job!
What holds your LR together?
The second picture looks like "Onion Peel algae." I don't know the scientific name, but this algae is abundant in the Truk lagoon on the shipwrecks of the Japanese navy. |

Nothing is holding that rock together!!! Wow, you must be really good at puzzles
Are all the pieces really fitting together that good? How is your lighting sitting above the tank like that.? Is there a cover over your tank? -CaptK |

The rocks are pretty stout, but im planning on gluing them with some Reef construct. |

Northman,
Hey nice tank there, but a couple things. IF nothing is holding that together, I'd put leary (is that correct spelling?) in putting corals/clams on top of that. One slip can hmm make things go crashing down into the abyssal sand bed. Also, how deep is that sandbed? Looks to me like it's barely 2 inches. Maybe I'm just not good at estimating, but it does look like it could use a little more depth. Will this be coral or fish only? I'd do a do-it-yourself cover, it is not that difficult. Im usually bad at construction, but managed to make my own. It fit pretty well. Email me if you want a design. I'm sure others will be willing to help ![]() IMHO, Elmo |

Its gonna be a reef made out of frags...
As soon as i get more money I'm gonna buy some Aragamax, I already have 2bags of it in there, but i'll probbly need some more depth. I'm thinkin about constructing aa hood out of ply wood or similar, not sure though. |
