Valonia
im getting some valonia bubble algae. .
and everywhere i read there is no fish or anything that will eat does anyone have any good techniques to siphon them out of the tanks without popping them and realeasing spores everywhere thanks |

look for mithrax crabs, common name emerald green, from experience this works, but if the crab(s) die it will come back, so don't upset the crabs too much

I have three mythrax crabs in my tank AND Plenty of valonia to go around... I see some "popped" bubbles around so something is going after it I just hope they eat it faster then it can grow... I should probly add 2 more crabs to help with the task at hand... BTW my tanks a 55 with PC lights

well i say in sight i have about 8 valonia bubbles ..
just if they all get eaten and dont grow back very quick will the crab die of starvation. . what else will it eat? thanks |

these crabs are omnivours and will eat left over food and stuff, watch out some report these crabs attacking snails and corals
