    my 125

Well my 125 has been up and running for about
8 weeks now everything is finally moved over from my 72 that I disassembled.Thought I would share some pics with everyone. I definately have some stocking to do it looks bare compared to my 72! I have alot more room.I really enjoy the new tank. I have been able to set it up right the first time thanks to everyone here and what I have learned,as apposed to my last tank which I learned as I went and had no idea what I was doing initially. Thanks to everyone for all the help especially for the reccomendations for the ampmaster 3000 and the seaswirls what a awesome combination
    Thanks
    Ryan

I actually like it with less rocks. More swimming space for your fishes and the island look is nice.

Very nice! I think the rockwork has a very realistic appearance. Nice clam too.

    Thumbs up

    very nice
im also part of the "less is more" crowd when it comes to live rock.
spend youre money on corals instead;)

I agree that I like the openess of this tank. Maybe make the islands a little taller but other than that I would not change a thing. Sometimes less is more really. It looks great.

    Thumbs up Love IT!

Very spacious and clean looking! Job well done! what kind of anthias do you have Ryan? Where did you get them? have you lost any yet? I would like any info you have about your anthias, they look like sunburst anthias to me, which is the kind I have

    Thanx for the replies!

    Northman_with_reef,
There is about 100 lbs in there I would guess, I had some more in my 72 that I wanted to use but it was covered with xenia and anthelia & I didnt want that in my new tank, it is in a prop tank now. I didnt want to "crowd" the tank initially with rock
I wanted more room available for when coral is purchased attached to rock etc.

    Scuba,
The one is a suburst, and the other I was told was a type of lyretail. I bought them from a local lfs here in mi. (fish doctors)in canton. They both are doing very well I have only had them for about 2 weeks. I was told these type of anthias are more tolerant to higher water temperatures then some of the others. I had to do a rescue mission on one trapped in my overflow box the other day,not a easy task but the whole ordeal didnt seem to stress him out . sorry I cant give you more specific info. Hope this helps

    Ryan

I'm with the majority on this one, looks great I like an open looking tank more swimming space a shoal of Yellow tangs would finish it off IMO. Keep us posted with the pics I just love looking at pictures :-)

    Nice job
