Those with 2 regal/hippo tangs

how do you do it?

Do you buy them in a pair or don't they mind their own species?

thanks

I've done it , bought them small but as they get old one will dominate the other.
I didn't particularly like them because they are to hyper or they lay around in the rocks in weird positions.
They may be pretty but .

Done it! Bought both of mine small and they where already together in a tank by themselves at the LFS so they just grew up together. As a matter of fact I called them the "Blues Brothers" Right before I made the upgrade from 90 to 220 though I traded one of them for a coral frag.

i'm also interested in this pairing and have some follow-up questions.

fish- i'm assuming you dont have them any longer as you speak in the past tense. how long before they began to fight? and what size tank did you keep them in and with what other fish?
ive also heard that these are one of the few tangs that can live in relative harmony as pairs.

scuba- how long did you have them together? what size tank?
