Jeff's Exotic Fish delivered today!

Hi everyone,

I got my first order ever from Jeff's Exotic Fish today. I bought the 9 for $99 and a few loose pieces.

The box came at 9:45 am today and my only complaint is the bags leaked a little, enough to expose a few of the corals to the air in the bag.

OK...here's what I got:

2 Assorted Mushrooms... about 15 on each rock, mostly green shrooms
2 Pineapples...1 5" dia, 1 7" dia
1 Meat Coral 6" x 2"
1 Colt 5" high, 5" wide
1 toadstool, 3" dia
1 green open brain, about 4" across
1 watermellon mushroom ... about 10 on the rock

Extras:

Tubipora musica: 3"
2 gold maximas: 3" each
1 squamosa clam: 5"

Curious, what size did you order of each coral?

I jjst ordered the 9 for $99, I didn't get a chance to pick the sizes, but I know I made out for the price!

I have/will buy from Jeff's I bought my first clam from Jeffs and wow! I ordered a 3-4" clam and got a 5.5" one Cant wait to see yer pics

Jeff has really been getting in some good stuff latley. I've been down to his store 3 out of the past 4 Saturdays. The wild SPS colonies are out of this world. I have bought 7 of them at 25.00 each and other buddys have done the same. Then we just break em up and swap em.

I bought 3 of the 4-5" Squamosa's about a month ago when he started this sell, 3 for 60.00. Now I think their 3 for 50.00.

We had a good visit the last time I was there. He has setup shop in Tonga and now has his own collection sites, holding and shipping area. He has pretty much cut out all the middle men and things are really looking good. Last Saturday he had a large shipping container out in the parking lot ready to go to Tonga. You know the kind? the big ones you see on trains and the back of big rigs.......funny think was the shipping container was for boxes only, thats how much shipping he's doing just from Tonga.

Glad to see people are happy with their stuff. I only live 10 minutes away, so I never have gotten it online. Someone's gotta' take a pic of that tank sometime. It's the best I've seen with my own eyes outside of a public aquarium.

HUmmmm i wonder who is taking all the sps....its like a rat race every week...and also out of the last 4 weeks i have been there about 5 times..i hate Jeffs...but damn his prices are good..no choice had to get some sps...last time i was there a fight broke out over who's acro belongs to who...no they aint that busy..the guys that work there are just lazy..but they do have some nice stuff if you get there at the right time..

I didn't know they were closed on Monday but I was there and bought some clams from Jeff. Wondered why there wasn't anyone there except Jeff, 2 works and I.

Arent you wholesale? how come you go to jeffs and get clams from him? thats kinda messed up..you actually go out of your way to get stuff before we can get a hold of it...and then sell it back to us...

I should use my resale also and go into jeffs and get all my goods a few hours before anyone else..


You can do what you like with your (wholesale license) but keep it to your self..i can care less and if i did the same i would keep it to my self...good idea to tell eveyone where you get your good from..shows how much of a buisness man you are....

Ill see you there next week one a Monday just to get the best stuff..i wonder if you knwo there are a lot more wholesalers out there? Nah got better things to do..

I think i might just go wholesale and get clams from Jeffs to sell on the Boards... good grief.....dont Brag...

Brad, I was asked a question by Mark so I replied to him. We should have done it off line. Mark is a very good friend mine and we do carry on.

That's what you call free interprise. And for your information I buy very little from Jeff, but since he called me on a week-end telling me he was overstocked on a few things I took advantage of a good situation. And as far as me being a whole-seller, Jeff sells whole sell and retail and I am not the only person who he sells to.
