Baby snails covering glass ??
I have 50 to 60 baby snails crawling all over the glass
of my 90 gallon tank. The eggs hatch from tiny clear domes. These are the snails with the elephant trunk type of deal growing out of the head. My ? is how can I move these guy's over to my liverock? I have not been able to clean the glass for over a month now. Also will they die if I just knock them off and onto my sand bed? Thanks Mortman

Hi Mortman,
I have the same thing in my tank, but I usually notice that as the day goes on the snails go and hide when the lights are on. They are most abundant on the glass in the morning. So if I need to clean the glass I usually hold off until later in the day. There are still some snails hanging around but I just sweep them away. Maybe you could clean your tank later on during the day???? -CaptK |
