RS Berlin HO Skimmer -- Too many bubbles -- Help

I have a RS Berlin Turbo HO skimmer. It removes a great amount of junk out of the water, but the two output tubes point directly down at the surface. This causes bubbles to be created and forced down into the tank, which I am trying to eliminate.

Does anyone know the specs (thread size, width etc...) on the output tubes of the skimmer so I can build a spray bar-type add-on to diffuse the output horizontally instead of vertically? Anyone know if something like this is avaiable for sale?
