what happened?
A good buddy of mine found a white-looking spot on his queen angel. After discussing it with a LFS (who actually is knowledgeable about reefs and Salt H20 fish), he added para-guard to his 75 gallon Sat. night. His skimmer was off. All of the fish looked great Monday morning and the water was clear. Monday afternoon he came home to find his tank cloudy and all of his fish(lion, angel, tang, goby) were dead. What do you think happened? He did say that the color of the para-guard did not look the same as it did the last time he used it.
what parasite might that have been on the angel? thanks for the trouble ![]() |

what happened?
well first off, he left a sick fish in with the rest of his fish and threw chemicals in the tank ![]() i have no idea what "para guard "is,was it used acording to the directions? a white blotch doesnt sound like a parasite to me anyway....... i definitely wouldnt call the lfs that reccomended treating a bunch of healthy fish with anything "knowledgeable" when you have a problem, get youre answers from a fellow hobbiest/good book. never listen to someone whos trying to sell you something ,probably because its turning a "different color" because its been on the shelf so long .......................... |
