Wow. That is awesome. I hope your not planning on killing it, that would make a cool crab-only mini tank.

All I get out of my rock are stinky common rock crabs.

I second the single species tank or maybe it can live in your sump and be king of the sump world. Then you can add all the other crabs you find and they can have their own little battles like in thunder dome... man that would be so cool, first they need little leather jackets. Hey how big is that crab anyways looks big enough that you would notice it right away.
Touch it and see if it's stingy, or pokey.

Eses, large rock crabs are considered good eating in some places, I hear tell in the mississippi delta it's illegal to catch them now because they are becoming endangered, must be really tasty

i had a hairy crab (pilimnus sp. or something like that theyre very common in liverockand should be removed )in my sump for about a year.i wouldnt kill him if i could avoid it,but it would simplify the matter
