kole tang picky eater

My kole tang seems extremely picky about what he eats. He seems to really like picking off of the rocks and glass for food. Right now I just feed omega one flake and dried seaweed. All of the other fish totally pig out on this stuff, but I fear that the kole is not getting enough to eat. Every once in a while I'll see him nibble on the flakes or the seaweed, but I have yet to see him really tear up some food. I'm wondering if I should try some other foods to get him to eat more. What do you guys think I should try? gracias.

For how long has he been doing this? Maybe he's just getting enough to eat from the alge he's scraping of the rocks.

Koles typically eat detritus so it sounds like he is eating quite normally
