Hi All,
I have got a Yellow Fiji Coral. I am pretty sure it is a Yellow Leather (sacrophyton)
I have had it in my tank for almost a year now and it has really not grown at all. It still does open up for me and seems OK.
It is in an area of high flow and near the top of the tank.
But main question: I occassionally find these clumps of stuff, in ball shapes, laying in the center of the coral and it is all closed up. The stuff almost looks like a ball of fish poop. When I try to blow it off the balls of stuff are attached to string like things from the coral and don't fully blow off. They just stay suspended over the coral. But they leave behind a bright yellow spot from where the stuff was laying on the coral? Any thoughts about this?
Thanks,
CaptK
