SNEReefers June meet at CT's Norwalk Aquarium

Sunday, June 16th 2002

The meeting on Sunday, June 16 is being held at the Norwalk Maritime Aquarium. We have also arranged for a "behind the scenes" tour of the aquarium with emphasis on the equipment used and maintenance of the ecosystem. Directions to the Norwalk Aquarium can be obtained from the Web site.

Non-members are also welcome to join us for this Fathers' day grand event, an afternoon with more than 1,000 marine animals, open Ocean tank with 9-foot sharks, bluefish, striped bass, rays and other creatures found in the Sound and the ocean beyond

The Maritime Aquarium is located in southwestern New England. Located conveniently, 1/2 mile off I-95 in CT, along the waterfront of the Norwalk River and Long Island Sound.

From I-95 northbound
Exit 14 in Connecticut. Continue straight at two stop signs. Right at first light onto West Avenue. Bear left at third light onto North Main Street. Left at first light onto Ann Street.

From I-95 southbound
Exit 15. Exit ramp splits: stay to right following signs for South Norwalk. Left at light onto West Avenue. Bear left at fifth light onto North Main Street. Left at first light onto Ann Street

We look forward to having you joining us on Sunday the 16th for another fun Shindig of trades, meeting our supportive group and getting more acquainted with the marine ecosystem and our role in keeping it alive.

We shall be most appreciative if you will confirm to us your attendance, as there is a limit to the size of the group.

We lookforward to having you join us in celebrating fathers' day surrounded by 18,000 gallon to 110,000-gallon marine tanks and swimming with the sharks
