Talking Anyone try the new flake foods lately?

Hi All,
A long time ago I put in a post asking fellow reefers if they had ever tried the flake foods that we feed our fish. Well it has been some time now and newer flakes are out on the market now.
Maybe we could have a little taste test/Pepsi Challenge type thing here?
So I am wondering how many of you got so curious that you actually tried a flake, or two, or three................
What were your opinions?

Cool

I use Omega One flake food called First Flake. You wouldnt believe how my fish go after it . Made mostly with sea foods, has a low ash and water content. I wont use Formula One frozen food. It has way too much water and gelliten in it. My LFS used to make his own frozen food to sell, it was the BEST stuff I have ever seen. Too bad he went out of business.
As far as tasting it, my cat really likes it . .........Mike

I used the omega for a while.....seemed to have good results....then i switched to just a generic flake and i think its better than the one w/ the big name. My fish look just as healthy if not more. As far as the pepsi challenge goes.....choose the sam's brand of coke

I have not tried any of them, but this thread might shed some light on the subject.

Ok, fine. But it was just a nibble. I also read that other thread, and I started wondering. I agree that the Omega one is sorta bland, but we're out of OSI, so no Pepsi/Coke challenge. Spirulina is interesting, at least. We humans will eat all sorts of things - many of which are far worse than flake food.

My husband wouldn't kiss me for a couple of hours, though.

Right now I'm using Formula One Flake food just for variety to my usual mixture of Sally's frozen brine shrimp and frozen food containing spirulina, fish, and other proteins.

Flake food would have to be my least favorite as they would always, always get sucked into that MaxiJet strainer and stay there....arrrrrgggh!! But I use it so I can see my cleaner shrimp run up and down the rocks in search for food

I've tried nori with tangs, but i'm not using that now as I only have clown fishes.
