How Big do marine betta get?
How big do Marine bettas get? I didn't get my dwarf lion that I wanted, but the lfs has a marine betta that I'm looking at...its about 4" and I'm wondering if it could fit in my 30g long(3 feet) until my 120g tank is ready in my new house(I think it might be in the wall that would be cool!) which i say would be ready for a fish thanksgiving next year..

Somewhere around 8". But I don't know how fast they grow you may be OK until then, but he would need a bigger tank when grown.

The marine betta is a very slow grower in captivity, very slow.
I think mine has probably grown about 3/4 inch over the last year. You will be fine with him for a long time. They dont care for super bright lights as I have found that mine likes to stay tucked under a shelf until the lights go out but he is usually visible throughout the day.a great addition to a tank and a beautiful fish.

8" is a good number, they'll generally get no bigger than someones hand. THey tend to hide all the time though, so you probably won't see him too much.
