anyone using Little Giant pond pumps from HD and Lowes?

In the gardon pond center they carry a 200 gph submersable pump for only $34. Would be perfect size for my 10 gallon sump, but says in warranty info that warranty voided if used for anything other than freshwater.

Has anyone tried these in saltwater?

Most of them say, "not for use in salt or brackish water".

You may wish to double check that first.

That's the model that reeftec people are using. Supposedly it is safe.
