Probably because they are such ugly stores that they stand out.

New

Been keeping Soft Corals and fish for 3 years. Recently was on extended road trip and my kids "swore on a stack of bibles" they would take care of tank.....they didn't and when I got home it crashed. Starting over with bigger plans (which don't include the kids or the wife!).

Starting a 55 gal. FOWLR for now, eventually want to keep clams.
Interested in Using Natural Sunlight or Sun Tubes as supplemental light so if you have experience please contact me! Thanks!

Hi Alicia, Welcome to Reefland!

If you have particular questions about setting up your tank I think you'll get more responses if you post them in another forum, like Reef Forum for example.
And, don't worry about being young, that's the beauty of this hobby that we all can share something so special, no matter what age we are.

Just Me

Well a little about me:

I am from Columbia Falls, Mt and was introduced to this site by Charlie. Thanks again man.

I am pretty new to the hobby, a little more than a year now. I have a 125 gal reef tank with about a 45 gal sump. Still learning how to keep things alive and well but with the help from Charlie I'm getting better.

Nice to be able to join you all and hope to learn even more and maybe someday pass on what I've learned

Good Day
Duane

Heck, I've been at it for little over 6 years and I consider myself a forever newbie... It is very nice to have actual mentor in this hobby and Charlie is a right person for the job.
Sounds like you have a nice set up, post some pictures in the forums when you have a chance.

Were you the guy that was helping Barry out at MACNA? If so, I remember you well. It is nice to put a face to a forum handle.

Yup, that was me. Unfortunately for me I had missed lots of the conference by hanging in that "pavilion" but it was fun nonetheless. At least we had something to b**** about when we had a chance...

Will you be speaking at this year's MACNA? I won't be helping anyone with anything this year and will try to attend everything possible.

Yes, I am speaking at both MACNA (Washington D.C.) and IMAC (Chicago) this year.

I'll be sure to find a seat for your presentation at MACNA. IMAC is out for me this year, just too far to drive and I hate flying...
