Hello Reefland!

Hello reefland! I found this site last week so here I am. For current tank info, well I have filled out the tank info so you can get it there

I have a "few years" experience in the saltwater/reef hobby but no matter how many years I've been in the hobby --- I'm always learning new things ---

Other than my current primary tank, we also have a 125AGA reef ready set up as a lower flow lower light reef ---- I'm moving things from the 180 into this tank. It is also going to be using lifereef sump and skimmer --- Jeff Makes great products IMHO --- currently using a home made sump w/aquamedic turbofloater multi skimmer

Over the past 12 years we have had a variety of tanks all saltwater/reef.... a couple of 55's, 60, 75, 92 bow front (corner tank). The current tank has been up for about 2 years but most of the inhabitants are moving to the 125 to make way for an sps dominated tank.

well that's about enough about me and the tanks.... thanks for having the forum as a place to exchange ideas and discuss reef keeping issues!

Hello everyone,
I am very new I have been hangin out for the past 2 weeks searching and reading a lot of information haven't had any questions most of my questions I have found by searching the forums. This is a very informative site and I have gained a lot of knowledge.
My name is Shawn, Occupation Tech support, Tank 75 Gallon. I have had Frshwater for about 4 years with a variety of african cichlids. The only problem was that they breed like rabbits so i had a 75, 40, 20L to hold the babies so I wanted to get down to only having to maintain one tank for now.

Hi ALEXKOP, Welcome to Reefland!

I think you get more responses to your particular questions if you post them in the different forum. I know for a fact that one of our Moderators(charlie) keeps one of this tangs.

Thumbs up Hi

Name: Marty Shultz
Age: 27
Location: Naperville ~ a west suburb of Chicago

I have zero experience in saltwater and in the way past had a 10-gallon freshwater tank and I am just starting to get back in to this hobby (Now that I have some more time, money, and space)

No tank yet but I am starting to look around and see what it will cost me and am getting a few Idea's of what I want to start. Mostly doing a LOT of reading on the subject. So if you experienced people out there what to give some tips and maybe know if some good stores in the Naperville, Chicago land area, Please let me know.

Hey welcome to Reefland!!!

There are plenty of threads here of people starting tanks up. Do a search and you'll find plenty of info about new systems and the right equipment. Figure out what you think you want to set up and post it as a new thread. Plenty of us will jump in with pointers and advice. Welcome again and stick around.

Name: David Gams
Experience: Had fish only marine tank as kid
Reason for new tank: Son of 11 years old finally broke me down
I am new to the reef system. I bought him a 24g Nano cube thinking that would be the cheapest route. I realize new that it would be best to add a protien skimmer. I would like it to fit in the middle compartment in back. It could be in the sump line, HOT system ( wall in side of middle stage with dimensions 3 1/4" w, 6" d, 13" tall, 2 1/2" overhead clearance). I read where someone had a seaclone 100 in the same tank and I think it would fit, but I see that they are not that effective by reading the threads posted.
