Re: The picture behind the name - Everyone post :)

Well here is a pic of me. Figure I would tell the story behind the pic.

Went 40 miles offshore fishing yesterday. Caught our limit of Red Snapper which is 4 per person. Four of us went out on a buddies boat from the FD.

We went out to the VA FOGG ship wrecks and fished in 100 feet of water.

We would take the small Snappers that were under size and feed them to two big dolphins that were around the boat. We tried to get one to come up and take it from our hands but it wouldn't come no closer than about 20 feet. It sat there just looking at us and seemed to be saying, "just throw the fish to me already!"

We then came in to one of the rigs which sit in 88 feet of water to snorkel and then fish. The legs of the rigs are incredibly full of life. Plus all of the large schools of fish swimming around you.

I collected 3 Tessellated Blennies but two got away as my bag had a hole in the bottom. The one I got is beautiful and is doing great in the tank. Once he calms down and starts to come out I will take some pics.

We are going out sometime at the end of August just to snorkel and catch the Tessellated Blennies. The fish some before heading back in.

Overall it was a good trip. I love to head offshore into the deep blue water. Snorkeling the rig legs is always fun.

Rig Platform

Depth Finder at VA FOGG area. Fish were everywhere!

Dolphin eating a snapper, upper left corner. Best pic I could get.

Emptying the fish into an ice chest at home.

Adding more....

And more....

Me.....

and me.....

I figured why not. LOL Actually I don't think I look good in photos (that's probably why I'm behind the camera 99% of the time! LOL), so I tried to find one that wasn't tooooo bad. I couldn't not put one up. Hehehe...

Nice to meet you as well! Definitely a great site here!

I once told my wife I wanted a basset hound so there would something I could look at in the morning and not feel so bad.
