Thanks guys, it was a blast catching the Sailfish. I insisted many times we release the fish but the guys on the boat would not hear of it they gave it to some guys back at the marina and told me they were gonna eat it. Although we did also catch some Snapper and we had fresh Ceviche later on that day that was awsome.

I had to stop by and comment to.

It's been too long since i've been here.

Great pictures everybody, and yes this thread is gettin' funny

Almost Diva,

Speaking of opera singers, my neighbor is a "wannabe" opera singer. He does these little renditions that I can hear all the way from my house (oh and to add to that, he IS inside his house) of some high pitch vocals ???!?

He traveled to ITaly and Greece this past summer, along with his daughter.

Again, it's nice to see everyoen again, and maybe we'll meet at the PSAS meeting today.

Scubadude - I love that pic I can't remember what the occasion was, but yeah, I was pretty excited about the Coke.

If that woman support reefing, You should clutch onto that beautiful wife of yours and never let go

And Reinhold, I would not post those pics of your daughters, we have some young reefers here ya know

I'm impressed with how beautiful the women who posted are compared to how scruff and roughneck the guys looked

Yes, that's much, much better!

We wouldn't want people to think that after 14 years and probably well over a quarter of a million bucks in tuition they hadn't taught you how to spell the name of the occupation.

Well, yes. After well over $300K in student loans, 2 college degrees, a medical school degree, 14 years spent between the freezing winters in IL and the bullet dodging ghettos of Baltimore, countless nights of painful reading, and 80-100 hour work weeks, I am sure someone with a 7 month old in his hands reaching for everything and anything while trying to type something have never slipped their finger off a key or pressed one too many.

Luckily though, an anesthesiologist can pay back $300,000 in student loans in a couple of months, unlike us poor ER docs, who slave away for an hourly rate somewhat less than a plumber makes!

It would take at least six months. And then the next six months would go towards paying their malpractice insurance premium.

Couple of months? Six months? You guys are high on what again??? What, you don't think we pay taxes like the rest of the country and have other live expenses? Try more like 10-15 years!!

Reinhold:
If stuff was so good as people think it is, I would have the 12'x4'x3 tank with a 400 gal sump, 1000 watters, etc SPS dominated system with 300 fish I really want and not the 360 gal nano I have now!

After we pay off all the loans!!!

Take care

Being at the utter bottom of the totem pole, I'm not going there...

I'm a second-year medical student, so I'm even farther down than you are, lovesalt.

I go by Mrs. Smith on the other boards, Danielle in real life. (My real last name is a heck of a lot longer and hypenated.)

I share a 135 reef with hubby (who drug me into the hobby several years ago). I also have a 29 that I use as a baby Banggai grow-out tank.

I'm 25, and I can't find any pics of me at the moment. I'll see if I can later.

Hi Danielle,

Relax for a couple of years....you haven't reached the bottom of the food chain yet. You still have an intern year to live through!

One day, even second year med students are going to look at you with pity as you endure the first year of residency.

I second that! You know you are a resident when you see the janitors at the hospital and homeless camping out outside the ER in the winters that tell you they feel sorry for you! Then, you know you ahve made it my friend!

Yep, I know. You don't have to remind me. Really. I look at them with pity even now. (Well, pity and awe, of course!)
